Whether selling a product or service, providing advice in a public sector setting or working in a bank or building society, customer facing staff have a crucial role to play in the success of their organisation. Retailing Customer service and selling skills are important, but in the retail setting other skills including merchandising, stock control, buying, marketing, till operations and security play an equally important role. Team leading This Level 2 Apprenticeship programme develops skills in leading and organising a team to achieve objectives. It is particularly relevant for any staff who have already achieved their NVQ or Apprenticeship in their prime occupation and are moving into a supervisory role for the first time.
